Mrs. Strissel’s Movement and Music Class

At the heart of the preschool music program is worship.  Your child is learning everyday to say and do nice things to others around them.  In music class they have been learning that praise is saying nice things to God and about God.  To practice this each child is given the opportunity to say what they like most about Jesus.  The answers are precious.  A few comments were…

“he creates things with his voice”
“he loves me”
“he made tiger they are my favorite, and the whole world”
“he gives blessings on me”
“he makes my mom and dad”

Every day we start the class by praising the Lord.  We do this by singing a song called Patty Cake Praise.  I have included the lyrics so you can sing along with your child.  The joy of my heart is teaching your child that God is worthy of our praise!

With a pat pat pat,
And a tap tap tap,

It’s the perfect day
For patty cake praise.
So lets pat and tap and clap clap clap.
