Welcome Back to School 2016!
Happy August! I hope this letter finds your family healthy and that summer has been relaxing and fun so far. It is my great privilege to inform you that I will be your child’s teacher this year! I am delighted to come along side you to help educate your child this year.
First of all, I would love to tell you about how God brought me to HCA. I taught for five years in the 90’s (yes, the 1900’s), teaching fifth grade at a public school. God brought me a prince, I married him and we had four children, in five years. I stopped teaching when our first child was born, and I stayed home for twelve years to work as a “mommy”. Today, Camryn is 18, Rylee is 16, Nate is 15 and Luke is 13. We have attended Harvest Bible Chapel since 2002, at the Crystal Lake campus. We now attend HBC-Elgin, since we moved to Gilberts in 2014.
Our four children have had the privilege of attending HCA since 2011, when I began teaching third grade at HCA. I taught third grade for two years, and “moved up” to fourth grade in 2013. So this is my sixth year teaching at HCA . I love teaching at HCA, and I feel this is exactly where God wants me to be teaching! I am beyond thrilled to be teaching your child this year! Children are a precious gift from God, and I feel honored and privileged that He has entrusted your child to me.
Coming up on Saturday, August 13, is “meet the teacher day” from 10:00-11:30 AND our school picnic from 11:30-1:30. When you come to our classroom, you may bring in all of your supplies to put in your new desk and locker, so you will be all set for the first day of school on Tuesday, August 16. The picnic will follow outside on HCA’s front lawn.
I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child this year. I expect the Lord to do some exciting things this school year, and I am glad we will be partnering together to experience it.
Serving in His Name,
Mrs. Tracy Boldog
