Micheal Bumgardner

Accounts Payable and Purchasing ClerkMr. Bumgardner came to know Christ as his savior here at Harvest Bible Chapel. Before his wife Jen and he started dating she insisted that he come to church with her. At that point he was not a believer. She brought him to Harvest and almost immediately he felt at home here. They attended every weekend and God was working on his heart. After coming for about five months, during one of Pastor James’ weekend messages Michael gave himself to Christ and was baptized a few months later.

Mr. Bumgardner was born in Kenosha Wisconsin and graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a B.S. in Business Administration. He has been on staff since 2008. He and his wife Jen have two young children, Brayden and Paige.

Why you do what you do? " I like that my job is always different. There’s always something new and challenging. I really like the purchasing aspect of my job because I get to hunt and find great deals on products and save money for the school. I also enjoy knowing all the items I buy will have a positive impact for the staff and students here at HCA. It’s very rewarding."
