Resource DirectorTerri Barth comes to Harvest with a Master’s in Special Education from Roosevelt University. Terri spent the last seven years in the public schools working with struggling students and providing needed interventions to close the learning gap and increase student success. Terri has background working with students that have had a variety of disabilities and struggles, including: aspergers/high functioning autism, ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, hyperlexia, ED and BD. She is experienced and knowledgeable in the General and Special Education field from lower, middle and high school and has done testing for learning disabilities, observations as well as written many IEPs. Terri is providing Barton tutoring, as well as academic interventions including math intervention, writing intervention along with social skills classes. The drive to lead students to understand themselves as learners so they see how God created them to bring glory to himself. Terri enjoys exploring student’s strengths and weaknesses so the perfect intervention can be found to help them to get caught up and this is what motivated her to study Special Education.(847) 214-3500 ext. 3336
