Jim Mickel

Mr. Mickel  joined the HCA staff in 2004 with 21 years teaching experience in physical education and health.  His coaching experience includes all levels of athletics from college, high school, jr. high, and elementary. Mr. Mickel  holds a B.S. Ed. in Physical Education, with an emphasis in Biomechanics, and a minor in Health Education from Northern Illinois University, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Roosevelt University. Mr. Mickel and his wife, Beth, have been married for 15 years and have two sons, Jonathon and Jacob.  They currently attend Harvest Bible Chapel in Elgin where they are actively involved in the Usher Ministry.
