Cathy Snowwhite

Preschool DirectorMrs. Snowwhite has worked in Early Childhood Education for over 25 years. Cathy has written and developed original curriculum, designed classrooms, and formatted various programs progression. Cathy followed God’s leading to open, develop, plan, and operate Wings Preschool in Elgin. Wings became a premier Preschool in Elgin and enjoyed that fine reputation for over ten years. Throughout her career Cathy has been involved in a variety of educational roles including classroom teacher, program director, curriculum writer, ESL/ELL instructor and preschool director.
Mrs. Snowwhite has been involved locally serving on the Elgin Area Childcare Initiative Board, Friends of Judson College Board, Elgin Day Care Center Board, First Baptist Church E.C.D.C. Board, Christian Woman’s Club Board, and West Ridge Community Church Children’s Programming team, as well as serving as Sunday School teacher for over 20 years.

Mrs. Snowwhite holds a Masters in Special Education from Abilene Christian University and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education along with an Elementary Education degree from Southern Illinois University.
